Why Us?
Why choose Regulated Immigration Consultants?
In order to apply for the immigration stream of your choice, you have to submit all necessary documents, respect due dates, and pay all government fees with your application.
You also, have to understand and evaluate your eligibility and qualifications to proceed with such an application.
The Government of Canada, provides explanations and guidelines on its website for those who wish to immigrate or visit Canada. However, keep in mind, that it is more complex than it seems.
As they say, devil is in the details. If you do not properly evaluate your eligibility and qualifications, miss the deadlines, omit certain details from your forms, or even worse, willingly or unwillingly misrepresent yourself, your application will be returned to you, in some cases, you might not even be allowed to apply again. That’s why you will need RCIC to carefully evaluate and prepare your file for submission. It is our job, we do this every day.
One thing to keep in mind, is that the Representative that you choose, should be either a Regulated Immigration Consultant (RCIC), a Member of Law Society in Canada (lawyer), or a Member the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
The RCIC’s are governed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
The CICC website www.college-ic.ca explains its role further:
“The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants was designated by the government of Canada to regulate the Canadian immigration consulting, the Canadian citizenship consulting, and international student advising professions.
Section 91(2) of the Immigration & Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Section 21.1 of the Citizenship Act requires that anyone who provides Canadian immigration or citizenship advice for a fee or other consideration, must be a member in good standing of a law society in Canada, the Chambre des notaires du Québec, or CICC.
CICC’s Purposes
2) To promote the benefits of using only an authorized representative as a consultant in immigration/citizenship matters”.
